Thanks be to GOD for this beautiful day. I considered heading to the Village again but couldn't manage it. Instead Mr. Bates had many, many, many walks and we headed to the park while Jackson had soccer practice (the puppy came to the park too and had a great time).
Cecilia was SO proud as she made it all the way across the monkey bars. "I couldn't do it last year but now I can!" she said over and over again. It was a nice moment and I'm glad I was there to see it.
Also nice was hearing the other kids cheer her on.
And Josie was very big on the slide alone this year. She was a big fan of the park.
More walks for Mr. Bates and now he's passed out on the couch. I hear tomorrow will be even warmer. I hope so. The vitamin D feels great!
